It’s true that all web hosting companies are not good but when it comes to Fatcow, it worst. I myself have used FatCow hosting services and their services are triable. It’s true that they have build and spend million $ to make their website popular through Google Advertisement and other sources but true is something else.
Here are top 10 reason why Fatcow Sucks and why it’s worst hosting company:

2) FatCow’s MySQL Database run very slow specially when you are using wordpress or any other CMS application that is using MySQL Datbase.

3) Bad Customer Care Support, their technical support team doesn’t really know about technical stuff, like they don’t know how to change wp-config.php files

4) Bad eMail Service, their email service will make you cry, specially if you are small business owner. Many times they fail to send a plain text message. And the funny part is they them-self used to send at least a mail on weekly basis about the issue with their Email, here if proof (I used to get this kind of email at least once a week)

Bill DeFelice: This provider has really started to suck ever since they were sold in June of 2005. I have fallen victim to constant outages with both web hosting and email handling. I am up to the point where I can’t trust that any outbound email has actually been sent due to their poor performance. I have enough service tracking numbers to support my claims. They are nowhere near 99% uptime! I would save your money and find another web host. I plan on switching service to a new provider as soon as my website will back.
David: This provider has been awful for me. Hardware problems caused an outage for a week, and afterwards they still have yet to fix problems causing the sites to be inactive about 60% of the time. Either I really have bad luck or this is how they treat all their customers, but the performance is terrible. Do not recommend.

Tico: I have been managing WordPress sites for years and when one client wanted a cheap service, I went with FatCow. This was a horrible mistake. Daily outages perhaps averages 10 500 errors pages which is unacceptable when you have a marketing site. FatCow said they are doing nothing to prevent this and that it occurs when their servers are over loaded and is self-correcting. Sure it might be self-correcting but tell that to all of the bounces I get from visitors thinking the site is down.

Please note that if you have static page then it might be OK hosting service provider but if you have blog or small business owner then BIG NO TO FATCOW.
